BAZAR NOIR SHOWROOM
For almost a decade, the emblematic Berlin space located between the bustling of Bergmannstr. district and the peaceful Viktoria Park has been home to BAZAR NOIR. A singular space with impressing ceilings almost five metres high, divided into two distinct spaces by a majestic floating staircase.
The ground floor serves as a showroom, displaying furniture, lighting and artworks presented on massive wooden units or exhibited in a versatile floor-to-ceiling shelving system.
The far end of the space features a cosy corner, reserved to our customers where a small yet well-equipped kitchen is nestled.
Wrapped in black from floor to ceiling, the groundfloor is highlighted by a steel-framed staircase clad in wood from the inside that leads to the mezzanine. The first floor is used as an office and for on-site consultation of samples and other furnishing materials.
The founders of BAZAR NOIR have worked in collaboration with the Berlin studio Hidden Fortress to create this challenging yet thrilling project.
