Staiths is a filigree and elegant shelving unit inspired by the structures of Victorian industrial relics in the River Tyne. This elegant piece of furniture is hand crafted in the North of England by the talented Studio Novocastrian.
The brothers Almond combine their respective skills as metalworkers, architects, welders, artists and makers to only name of few of their savoir-faire. Together they forge bespoke objects and environments. Their craft is born from the industry and manufacturing heritage of their home, North East England and their creations are elemental, humble and yet timeless. They believe in the honest beauty of raw and modest materials where metal is their obsession and the backbone of their work.
