Tripod is part of a series of sculpturesque furniture pieces focusing on material experimentation bearing evolving forms and daring finish combinations. Its design language embraces a playful recognition of the line between art objects and refined furniture with a tongue-in-cheek intentionality. Erickson Æsthetics is a Brooklyn-based furniture design and prototype studio, founded by Ben Erickson in 2003. EÆ works collaboratively with designers and artisans cross-industry to produce one-of-a-kind commissioned pieces.
