The Monolith series is an exercise in reduction, sculpted out of a single body with the help of simple scores and folds, the geometry of the lamp, surface, texture, and finish of its material is made for calming interactions with its light.
Paul Matter is a New Delhi-based design studio founded by Nikhil Paul that explores light design by blending the traditional with the experimental, form with function, and detail with the ordinary. The longevity of the designs is ensured by combining timeless visual language with materials that refine with age. The studio works closely with master craftsmen, developing hand-crafted products, finished and assembled with great attention to detail, one piece at a time.
